Day 2: We'll arrive in Washington D.C., where we'll explore the city with the expert guidance of our first-class, step-on tour guide! This morning, we'll meet our guide to tour Arlington National Cemetery. Your visit includes a tram ride with designated stops, including the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of The Unknown Soldier. Your stay in D.C. includes 5 nights in beautiful Alexandria, Virginia at the Hampton Inn. Breakfast is included each morning before touring.

Days 3 & 4: So much is in store during these two full days of touring with our guide. You'll have a photo opportunity in front of the White House and also see the U.S. Capitol,  the Lincoln Memorial, and several monuments and memorials such as those established for World War II, Vietnam, and Iwo Jima.

Day 5: Today is a free day you can choose to spend as you wish, with transportation provided to the National Mall, America's most visited National Park. While there, you can spend the day as you choose,  exploring one of the Smithsonian Institution(s), home to many museums, galleries, and a zoo.

Day 6: We will visit Mt. Vernon, the 500 acre estate that once belonged to the 1st President of the United States, George Washington.

Day 7: We depart the D.C. area and spend the evening in Wheeling, WV at the same hotel as night 1.

Day 8: We arrive home having experienced what so many ​have called a “once in a lifetime” journey!
