Day 1: We depart for an amazing trip and spend the evening in Manhattan, Kansas.
Days 2 & 3: Arrive in Denver and stay the night at the Drury Inn before enjoying the Georgetown Loop the following day. Then...it’s off to Colorado Springs for the evening!
Day 4: Today, we travel to Canon City where we board the Royal Gorge RR for a 2.5 hour ride, during which lunch on board is included. Following this, we will continue to our hotel for an evening in Alamosa, Colorado.
Day 5: Travel through narrow mountain passes and rugged territory to Antonito where we board the 1880's Cumbres & Toltec Scenic RR, featuring open air for 64 miles.
After today's train we travel to our hotel in Farmington, New Mexico.
Day 6: We stop at the Four Corners Monument where Utah, New Mexico, Colorado,
and Arizona meet as we journey to Durango, Colorado. We’ll visit Mesa Verde National Park, accompanied by a local guide.
Day 7: Today we travel on the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad Train for a 45 mile, 3.5 hour ride. In Silverton we board our motorcoach and drive the "Million Dollar Highway" en route to Gunnison where we will rest for the evening.
Day 8: We travel to historic Leadville for lunch and then board the Leadville, Colorado and Southern RR (round trip 2 1/2 hours) where you'll view spectacular sights, 1,000 feet from the valley floor before spending our evening in Denver.
Days 9 & 10: Our final night will be spent in Manhattan, KS, where we will enjoy the evening as we reflect on all of our great memories spent on the glorious Trains of Colorado!
