The Great Steamboat Race

Join us on this exclusive tour that culminates with "The Great Steamboat Race"! This iconic American tradition of boat racing, bourbon tasting, and bountiful food is simply unbelievable fun.

Our vessel is the Belle of Cincinnati, a majestic and ornate beauty, upon which we will cruise in ultimate comfort and luxury. She features three decks, including an open-air top deck for stunning springtime sightseeing! Dining areas and dance floors surrounded by lavish Victorian décor will make your time aboard one you’ll always remember.

The first day, we’ll travel to Cincinnati, OH and spend the evening in the area before boarding the beautiful Belle of Cincinnati the following morning. On Day 2, we’ll depart Newport Landing and begin our voyage on the Ohio River! Our first shore-stop is the lovely river town of Aurora, IN. Settled in the early 1800’s, Aurora is full of historic buildings and small-town charm.

Then, its back on ‘the Belle’ for a cruise through the Markland Locks and Dam, before we dock for the evening in Vevay, IN. From there, we’ll check into the lavish Belterra Casino Resort and enjoy dinner together onsite. Day 3 will find us coasting towards Louisville, KY before checking into the Hampton Inn in Louisville. Also tonight, we'll enjoy a dinner show at the world-class Derby Dinner Playhouse!

Day 4 will mean it’s time for the big finale: Race Day! We will compete against the Belle of Louisville (on her home turf, no less)! Bring your cheerful spirit and help us race the Belle of Cincinnati to victory together! Finally, on Day 5, we’ll journey home full of wonderful memories (and hopefully as the 2024 race champions)!
