We're thrilled to announce an all new, updated version of our very popular Michigan trip for 2023! Join us for a vacation you'll always remember.

We will spend our first two evenings in Dearborn, Michigan, where we’ll visit the incredible Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation. Having purchased the ‘All-American’ Package, you’ll have access to not only the museum but also the Ford Rouge Factory Tour and Greenfield Village. The village has over 80 acres to explore and while there you can ride in an authentic Model T car and take a 3-mile train ride on a historically recreated railroad!

Then, we’ll travel north for a two-night stay at the Lakeview Hotel on Mackinac Island! While there, we’ll take a horse-drawn carriage tour of the island and have lunch at Grand Hotel, the stunning establishment featured in the iconic film ‘Somewhere in Time’. You’ll also have plenty of free time to explore the venue and enjoy the rocking chairs on the idyllic Grand Porch.

The island has so much to offer, and you’ll have time to spend as you wish to experience Fort Mackinac, the Mackinac Island Butterfly House, or do the ‘fudge crawl’ where you stop at the ample variety of fudge shops downtown. No motorized vehicles of any kind are allowed on the island, so feel free to rent a bicycle or sit back and relax to the soothing ‘clip-clop’ of horses’ hooves transporting guests around the island.

Departing Mackinac Island, days 5 & 6 will find us in the “Little Bavaria” of Michigan: Frankenmuth!  Our accommodations are at the world-famous Bavarian Inn Lodge. This beautiful location features an incredible design, wonderful food, indoor mini-golf, and an indoor water park with a dedicated adults-only pool and whirlpool. We’ll take a class on pretzel rolling, view the Glockenspiel Clock, and enjoy not only a German dinner, but also a famous family style chicken dinner, 2 amazing breakfast buffets, and a wine and cheese tasting!

A local step-on guide will take us on a tour of the small city, famous for its architecture, German cuisine & beer, and Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland. As the world’s largest Christmas store, they personalize over 400,000 ornaments annually, and feature more than 300 decorated trees on display in their salesroom!

On Day 7, we’ll arrive home with great memories of our summer journey to one of the most popular areas to visit in the US! Call our office to reserve your space!
