Day 1 – 15 Apr (Thu) – Arrive in London
Welcome to London! A group transfer is provided to your hotel.

This evening, join your Tour Director and traveling companions

for a welcome dinner at your hotel. (Dinner)

Day 2 – 16 Apr (Fri) - London
After a hearty English breakfast, morning sightseeing with a Local Guide includes all the famous landmarks: the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben beside the River Thames , Westminster Abbey, Whitehall’s mounted Horse Guards and the Prime Minister’s Downing Street residence, Piccadilly Circus, and Buckingham Palace. The highlight is a visit to ST. PAUL’S CATHEDRAL, Sir Christopher Wren’s masterpiece built between 1675 and 1708. (Breakfast)

Day 3 – 17 Apr (Sat) - London
Enjoy this morning and afternoon at leisure. This evening enjoy a memorable evening of food, wine and entertainment on a showboat dinner cruise on the River Thames in London. Feast on a 4-course dinner aboard your sightseeing boat as you sail past London attractions such as Big Ben, the London Eye and Tower Bridge, all illuminated at night. While you eat and admire the sights, enjoy live entertainment from a cabaret singer and, if you wish, take to the dance floor. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 4 – 18 Apr (Sun) – London – Stonehenge - Exeter
Travel to prehistoric STONEHENGE; explore the visitor center with its imaginative exhibitions, before admiring the magnificence of the monument up close. Head to Exeter where you will spend the next two nights. There is time to discover this small but vibrant city in the heart of Devon on your own. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 5 – 19 Apr (Mon) – Exeter – Cornwall Excursion - Exeter
Enjoy magnificent scenery today as you drive to Cornwall, of Poldark fame, and to the pretty fishing village and former smuggler’s port of Looe. In Plymouth, see the historic Barbican and the Mayflower Steps, where the Pilgrim Fathers embarked in 1620. Then, head into Dartmoor, famous for the wild, open moorlands and deep river valleys, rich history and rare wildlife. Stop in Widecombe-in-the-Moor with its prominent church, cozy tea rooms, and lively pubs before returning to Exeter. (Breakfast)

Day 6 – 20 Apr (Tue) – Exeter – Bath – Cardiff, Wales
This morning, travel to elegant Bath to see the amazing excavations of the ROMAN BATHS. Constructed around 70 AD as a grand bathing and socializing complex, this is one of the best preserved Roman ruins in the world. After the visit, you will have time to explore the town on your own and marvel at the honey-colored Georgian architecture. Stay the night in Cardiff, the Welsh capital. Enjoy an orientation tour of Cardiff, the capital of Wales. This evening experience Welsh culture at its finest during this memorable dinner of local specialties, wine, and spirited folkloric entertainment. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 7 – 21 Apr (Wed)

Cardiff – Builth Wells – Llangollen – Liverpool, England
Your journey through Wales takes you north along the Taff Valley and Brecon Beacons National Park, and via the ancient market town of Builth Wells. Take a stroll in picturesque Llangollen, host to one of the world’s most colorful annual music festivals. This afternoon, a visit to THE BEATLES STORY is included, an atmospheric journey into the life, times, culture, and music of the “Fab Four.” (Breakfast)

Day 8 – 22 Sep (Thu) – Liverpool – Lake District – Glasgow
Travel back in time in England’s Lake District as you climb aboard the LAKESIDE & HAVERTHWAITE RAILWAY STEAM TRAIN and enjoy beautiful views of the Levens Valley from your carriage. Continue your journey with a CRUISE aboard a WINDERMERE STEAMER to Bowness, and take in the wooded shoreline and distant stretches of the distant moorlands before continuing to Glasgow for your overnight. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 9 – 23 Apr (Fri)

Glasgow – Loch Lomond & Stirling Excursion – Glasgow
Beautiful Loch Lomond is your first destination today and a CRUISE past pretty Islands brings you from Luss to the picturesque village of Balmaha. Then enjoy a guided tour of a WHISKY DISTILLERY where you hear about the ancient art of converting barley, water, and yeast into the heartwarming liquor. Next, visit STIRLING CASTLE, a great symbol of Scottish independence and favored residence of Scotland’s kings and queens. Back in Glasgow, take a panoramic orientation drive to a 12th century cathedral, the imposing University buildings, and the elegant Georgian squares built by tobacco barons. (Breakfast)

Day 10 – 24 Apr (Sat) – Glasgow - Edinburgh
After breakfast, head to Edinburgh. Join your Local Guide on a walking tour along the famous Royal Mile. On the way, discover Edinburgh’s deepest secret, THE REAL MARY KING’S CLOSE, a warren of hidden streets frozen in time since the 17th Century. Your tour will finish at EDINBURGH CASTLE to admire Scotland’s Crown Jewels. The balance of your day is at leisure. Maybe check out the wonderful Edinburgh Royal Mile and check out a local pub or restaurant. (Breakfast)

Day 11 – 25 Apr (Sun) – Edinburgh
A full day in Edinburgh to explore on your own. This evening indulge in one last great event. Board the ROYAL YACHT BRITANNIA, once the perfect royal residence for glittering state visits and family holidays. Tour five decks and see how the Royal Family and crew of 240 lived and worked onboard. The night is rounded off with dinner and wine at an excellent local restaurant.

Day 12 – 26 Apr (Mon) – Edinburgh – Flight home
We say farewell today with your group transfer to the Edinburgh Airport. (Breakfast)
