Update Regarding Upcoming Tour Departures & COVID-19 (Coronavirus)
March 22nd, 2020
As many of you know, The Governor of Illinois has made the difficult decision to close all "non-essential" businesses within the State of Illinois. Timi's Tours is in the "non-essential" category, and therefore will be closed, starting Monday March 23rd, until it is safe to reopen. However, we are continuing to work from home, to do what we can do serve you, including the rescheduling of trips on an as need basis.
●We are here for you
Timi's Tours understands that during this time you may have uncertainties, but we are here for you, and will continue to be, today, tomorrow, and every day thereafter.
●We are accepting bookings
Quarantine is necessary, there is no doubt about that, but it is also temporary. We expect tours in the coming months to be sold out at an unprecedented level, and encourage you to email and book now! You may email booking requests to firstname.lastname@example.org
●Follow Our Social Media for more updates!
Timi's Tours will post updates as we have them via Social Media. This is the most efficient way to get information out in mass. We are posting some fun things as well and look forward to continuing to connect with you all this way!
●A Few Notes on Trip Protection Insurance
If you have purchased Trip Protection Insurance for your departure, the change in our policies largely does not affect you. As always, you can review our policy by clicking here or visiting TimisTours.com/policy.html . Insurance will still provide the coverages outlined in your policy, including cancellation for approved reasons.
Per our partners at AIG Travel Guard:
AIG Travel is closely monitoring the Coronavirus, and its potential impact on travel. While we continue to provide periodic updates regarding travel safety, travelers should consult the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) websites for the most up-to-date information on the Coronavirus outbreak.
If you are considering canceling your trip due to the Coronavirus, please read your insurance policy thoroughly.
Generally, fear of travel is not a covered event under most of our policies.
