Day 1: We depart for Michigan, the Great Lake State! We’ll visit Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum in Grand Rapids that showcases more than 19,000 artifacts related to the 38th president.

Days 2 & 3: Take a ferry from Mackinaw City to Mackinac Island where we will spend 2 nights at the Grand Hotel, an illustrious National Historic Landmark that was featured in the classic film "Somewhere in Time." Your stay at this luxurious beauty includes two breakfasts, one lunch, and one dinner.  While on the island, we will experience a horse drawn carriage tour and you’ll have free time to shop and relax with views of the Straits of Mackinac while sitting on the rocking chairs on the world’s largest porch at the Grand Hotel. You’ll also have the opportunity to branch off and experience Fort Mackinac, the Mackinac Island Butterfly House, rent a bicycle, or simply relax and listen to the horses clip clop - no motorized vehicles allowed on the Island.

Days 4 & 5: You’ll soak in the flavor of Frankenmuth, Michigan, a city known for its Bavarian-style architecture, fried chicken, German cuisine, beer, and one can’t forget Bronner’s, the world’s largest Christmas Store. Our accommodations include two nights at the Bavarian Inn Lodge, a sprawling resort steeped in old world charm and modern convenience. We’ll enjoy a viewing of the Glockenspiel Clock and two amazing breakfast buffets.

Day 6: Arrive home full of great memories of one of the most visited areas of the country.
